Global sealing

Federal-Mogul VCS forms global Sealing and Engine business unit headquartered in Skokie, IL (US) at the home of global Fel-Pro brand gasket production.

2012

Federal-Mogul announces the formation of dual operating structure

Federal-Mogul announces the formation of a dual operating structure consisting of Federal Mogul Powertrain (OE) and Federal Mogul Vehicle Components Segment (Aftermarket) both with unique CEOs.

25,000 SKU Mark

FP Diesel portfolio reaches the 25,000 SKU mark.

Merging of brand portfolios

Federal Mogul's Sealed Power Heavy Duty range is merged with the FP Diesel brand's portfolio.

Consolidated distribution

FP Diesel distribution is consolidated from Huntington Beach, CA to Maysville, KY (US).

Acquisition of Nural

Federal-Mogul acquires European piston maker Nural and adds the Nural brand to the engine repair parts portfolio.

Acquisition of Fel-Pro

Federal-Mogul acquires Fel-Pro and builds on the FP Diesel brand.

Consolidation and growth
